I trying to do a find and replace, but replace is grayed out. I've tried altering every drop down in box, but stays grayed out. Any idea? Thanks Also (to just delete, you would just leave replace box empty, correct?) Kevs

While I realise that MicroSoft is an American company, not all of us want american the format for our spreadsheets!!! I have my machine set for UK formats - which is fine for general computing, but in Excel the date format keeps displaying MM/DD/YY format.

I'm trying to find the AppleScript equivalent of saving a sheet as tab- delimited text, but I'm either misunderstanding the available "as" constants, or have run into a bug. I'm using Excel 11.3.3 under OS 10.4.9 on an Intel-based Mac.

Now that M$ is mulling over a conversion from VBA to Applescript ... Is there a way to call Applescript from VBA? That would allow developers to make controls (such as dropdowns and buttons) whose triggers evoke Applescript instead of VBA.

My version of Excel 97 will solve =exp((5/8)^2) but it will NOT solve =exp((5/8)^2.2). Whenever I put any decimal fraction for an exponent in =exp( ) it will not solve it. I get #NUM!. My TI83+ will solve it. Thanks
