When working I will copy a cell the the view shifts from there back to A1. How do i make the view stay focused on the area of the sheet i am working on?

In my windows version of Excel there is an item titled "insert stock quotes," which allows me to get various stock data items and return them to the spreadsheet. I can't find this on the windows for Mac. Can anyone advise me how to replicate this?

I have a rather large data and formula spreadsheet and am trying to hide some columns. Some hide without a problem but others return and error of: Cannot shift objects off sheet. Does anyone know what might be on the spreadsheet that will not allow me to hide these columns?

Does anyone know, how I could arrange data in cells from horizontal to vertical? I do not need to change the direction of the text itself, I would like to have the data from the 1st row in the 'A' column, second row in B, etc.
