I have found a few articles that ex-plain adequately the reason why
vertically oriented text does not display across Mac and PC platforms,
but there still seems to be some anomalies.
If I put vertical text into a Y axis label from a Mac it displays

is is possible to import a word table into an excel document and have
formatted the same way without copying and pasting the individual
cells????? And, having it retain all information in each cell with out
rebraking each line into a new cell???

There is a problem with summation of formulaic columns in Excel 2004.
Scenario:  In my spreadsheet, I have two manually entered columns, one
a NUMBER - 4 decimal places, the second a NUMBER - 2 decimal places.

I tried several times to select group of cells below D1 and then do a paste
in, went ok, but why always getting that dark thick bottom border?

Hello all, just a quick question here.  I use excel quite often and
have never had this problem:  I do payroll and bills/expenses on excel,
and I've noticed that in my totals column, sometimes only a series of
number signs show up rather than the total that is supposed to.  even

I have a spreadsheet that contains merged cells.  I can't un-merge the
cells because this sheet is a form that is used by others.
