I recently upgraded my RAM to 640 MB, and my operating system to Tiger
10.4.8.  I also re-installed Microsoft Office X.  However, I've now
noticed that there's a time lag when I try the following...
1) Manually widen a column by clicking on the line and dragging it

I have cell with a live link for e mail.
Thanks fine, but why is the cell to the right getting a live link? I did not
put in e mail or web address in it, yet it has blue and the underline???

Since switching from a PowerMac G5 & PowerBook G4 with Office 2004 to
an iMac and a MacBook (German OSX all Software freshly installed) I
have problems with Excel files that won't open any more. Only files I
created after the switch show this behavior. Especially files with

I am trying to analyse date specific data from several worksheets.  I
am trying to track surgical refractive outcomes for 3 docs.  I have 1
worksheet for each with a series of data relating to specific dates.
For example, original surgery date = 1/1/2006; then there is a visit at

Unfortunately, I was one of those whose autoupdate uploaded the bad MS
office update on 12/12.  It caused many problems but mainly, if I

I have created a new spreadsheet in Excel 2000 which involved some copying
and pasting from a previous spreadsheet. There are multiple worksheets in the

I've been through this before, it's so Excel, so unintuitive to deal with,
here it is again.

I installed the latest Office 2004 for Mac update 11.3.2 (the
legitimate update, not the early release).

The Shell in VBA in Office X always returns PID 0 and doesn't execute
anything, no matter what I try. I want to run a perl script. Similar

I have a macbook pro that I've been using since May.  I had been using
the Microsoft office apps on it, but sometime over the late summer,
something had changed with my configuration (service packs, updates, I

Randomly when entering date in any (no particular) vell...the program

I have a file, and after copying and pasting to some columns, I'm seeing
these yellow bar on far right in columns I have not used yet.  Any ideas
appreciated.
