I am having to manipulate large data streams, thousands of cells, and need to be able to fill a column without using the fill handle, as it takes just too long. Anyone have an idea?

In this formula, =IF(I20=14.58,"C","R") I20 is 14.58 (actually 14.5799999) yet "R" is returned. Clicking the equal sign when the formula is displayed, the dialogue box says that indeed it is false. Apparently it's not close enough to 14.58.

I have two worksheets (2005) and (2006) with similar data headings Column A has unique identifiers for each row in both sheets. I'd like to capture information from every entry in 2005 columns D,E,F and copy to columns D.E,F in the corresponding row in 2006.

I'm using the early version of Excel (Office X for Mac) Is it possible to "set preferences" for the Excel window in Ofice X so that it remembers (when opening files or "new from template') the exact same location and dimensions of the window containing the data?

I took my spreadsheet home over the weekend to finish it for work on Monday. At work I can run this macro without problem. It doesn't like saving as a text file. The history of this problem is without both saves it saves the original and turns it into a text file.
