I have a large 2D array of data with 'date' in one of the columns as a common
charting key for all other columns in the array.  For different reasons, I
might want to look at only a subset of the data on a chart - perhaps a subset
of the rows (based on a date range), and/or a ...

We have a 9 column table with a few hundred listings in a PDF. We need
to make a spreadsheet just like it and would like to avoid re-typing if
possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Every time I quit Excel I get an error that reads as follows: Compile
error in hidden module: AutoExec.
Any clue why and how to resolve?

I am trying to save a spreadsheet as HTML WITH interactivity.  I know that
"some" features may be lost but does anyone have a work around so that I can
still display items drwan with drawing toolbar?  Text boxes & lines are not
displayed if I choose w/interactivity.

Is there anyway you can search a database automatically for duplicate
entries.  EG:  I have a database of 2000 plus addresses and without
going through them individually is there a magic button I can press
which will high light these !?!?!

Strange request, but here goes. At present I have an autoupdating
seating plan for my classes. It consists of a list of students on one
sheet and a "grid" showing the ddesks on another. Currently each "desk"
contains a formulae similar to "=List!B1"

Everytime I open Excel I have to turn off all the fonts in fontbook.
Basically Excel checks the fonts when I open the programme and it takes
ages, ages and ages because it keeps telling me that each font is
corrupt and should be removed with the option to just click 'OK' no

I go through print setup and type in that this is a vertical format.  I

copy cells in one column and paste them in another column, BUT
reversed. For example, copy rows 1 thru 10 in column A and paste the
data in column D rows 1 to 10, but A1 goes in D10 and D1 is what is in

I made a really stupid mistake!  I "saved as" an excel document with
the same name as another document.  I then realized that I needed to
recover parts from the previous version of the originally-titled
document.  Is there any way to do this?

I use Excel for Mac (2004) at home, and Windows Excel at work.  In the
Windows version, the F2 key will let me edit the contents of a cell, but
this doesn't work in the Mac version.  Is there an equivalent key (and no, I
don't want to use the mouse) that will let me edit within a ...
