Preference to launch Excel without new workbook opening?03 Jul 2006 08:21 GMT5
In Excel 11.2.3, I would like to be able to launch the program without it
opening a new workbook.    How does one set such a preference?  ( Most of
the time, when I launch Excel, it's to deal with  existing workbooks.)

For some reason my formatting palett flys off the bottom of the monitor
and completely disappears when I open it. I've tried adjusting  the
resolution and have looked for preferences that might help, to no
avail. Anyone offfer a clue as to how to get it back on the screen?

Page Setup to control the width and height of a page, but wonder if
there's anyway to limit the width of a page to just one page -- so
