the border colour of teh active cell is currently a very thin light blue and
is difficult to see; I'd like to cahange to bold black but can't find a way
to do so.

Currently I am trying to build a form in VBA using excel. I am running it on
G5 and MAC OSX 10.4.6
Whenever I rename a control on a form and run the form it crashes and the
control disappears. I think this has something to do with the pdf add in.

I have problems with altering the image of a custom button.  On default it
looks like a smiley but I want to change that now to a small company logo.
However I can't figure out how to do this.   I opened the Customize
Toolbars/Menus and found various other buttons under the tab ...

i'm building a calendar to plan a project with different tasks.
i want to have n numbers of colums representing days automaticaly

My businesspartner made a calender in Excel (on a PC windows 1998). As
I open his file in my Mac Ibook, Excel 2004, the row and column width
is changed. (the column width are all different in his sheet).

After recently installing Virtual PC on my iBook, primarily for Access (for
work). I was struck by how much clearer the default font is in files
exported from Access to Excel:mac.  The iBook screen leaves a lot to be
desired and MS Sans Serif is so much clearer than Verdana or Arial ...

The more I use mac:excel the more I find the green sizing button behaviour
annoying. I appreciate this is a standard mac behaviour but I invariably
want to maximise the workbook window, rather than just accommodate the data
on screen (that is what the green button does isn't it?).

I am trying to use an Excel sheet containing two dates, and need to
prepare a formula that will yield the amount of time in months or days
between those two dates.  The date format in the cells is currently
mm/dd/yy.

I would like to add a check box to my exel sheet. I was able to figure
out how to add the actual check box, but now I can not find where I can
"activate" it, so that I can go in and check or un-check the box.

Using Excel 2004, there does not appear to be a command to commence the
process of sending the current workbook to a mail recipient. I hope I'm
mistaken, but, if not, I would be interested in seeing how others have
accomplished the task.

I have created a web query on my PC that I would like to get to work on a
Mac. I converted the iqy to a txt on the Mac (so it is the same query). The
query asks for sections which the PC recognizes but the Mac version pulls

I have this summary report automatically sent by SQL Reporting Services.  Im
using Excel X w/ the latest updates installed still, the file wont open
giving this error message:  
"The application Excel quit unexpectedly."

Over the last year or so, I've noticed that Excel 2004 will always
crash if it is open when I switch from one network to another (e.g.
from a wireless network to a wired network or to another wireless
network).  Has anyone else seen this?
