Search in Excel File22 Mar 2006 06:28 GMT1
I have few worksheets in a workbook.  I try to write a formular to lookup a
value from a worksheet named "Open-3035". The formula will look like "
=HLOOKUP($B$1,'Open-3035'!$C$4:$N$28,25,FALSE) "
However, my formula has to change the worksheet's name sometime.  Therefore

greeted with the error message "Cannot shift objects off sheet" when I
try to simply hide a row.  This happened before, and the problem went

Some rows printing too light18 Mar 2006 17:57 GMT3
In many on my documents, I have random rows that are printing too light.
Real weird.  Like 70% or rows prints great, rich dark black, and then like
10-30% or rows print very light, and faint, and often cracked in middle.
Usually happens with small fonts like Geneva 9 or
Copying Formulas18 Mar 2006 00:45 GMT4
My question concerns copying a formula in a cell that refers to another cell
using relative references, then pasting that cell and it's formula to another
cell and maintaining the correct relationships.
Suppose cell (10,10) refers to cell (9,9) using formula =R[-1]C[-1].

During the download and installation of Row Liner, it placed the .xla

perfectly. *But* I moved the .xla file into the MS Office folder to
clear off my desktop and now XL comes up with a message that says it

sales rep. This changes several times throughout the year. How do I

Mac and Pivot Tables16 Mar 2006 05:02 GMT4
I just a new job in an office that uses only Mac's.  I have been using Excel
for PC's for years and can make pivot tables fairly easily.
However, Excel 2004 for Mac does not seem to want to play nicely.  When I
create the PT, only the Page items have a drop down arrow for selection.

closed the little "watch" pop-up toolbar window, and it never came
back.  That little square?  I'm on a mac powerbook running 10.4.5 and
