I would like to calculate the equipment's life by using start date and
failure date.
How would i programmatically write the syntax in excel?
for example - start date : 12 - March -05

Can anyone help me with the following problem?
From a customer I got a workbook with pivot tables. The workbook was
originally created on a Windows computer (Excel 2003?) I can manipulate the
pivot tables on my Windows computer (W2000, Excel 2003).

I have Excel v.X and am struggling to create a formula where 1=a letter
(the same letter in a row) ; i just  want to be able to autosum the
number of letters in a row.  I want the letter to appear in the row and
the total number of letters at the bottom of the row.  This is done

2004 seems to want to define cell height/widths in inches, cms or mms
Dragging a row/col shows me the dimensions I am used to as well as the
inches, cms or mms but, if I want to define the cell height/widths I have to

2004?  The Excel2004 AppleScriptRef documents a "register xll" command,
but I haven't found any supporting documentation.  I'm wondering if
I'll be able to use gcc4, amongst numerous other issues.
