Help? Blue area to left of worksheet appears with symbols10 Feb 2006 14:37 GMT1
For the first time a blue area to the left of my worksheet in the
current open window appears with some symbols. At top are numbers,
which if I click, a dialogue comes up telling me it can't move items
off the worksheet. The second is a switch of some kind that hides and

I have Excel 2004 11.2.0 for Mac and run it on Tiger 10.4.4. but cant
get the comma to be as a decimal separator.
All is set in system preferences (international>formats), but it wont

I just upgraded to Office 2004 to be able to get an AppleScript in Entourage
to kick off a VBA macro in Excel. But no luck.
To test things, I created an Excel file ("test.xls") with a one-line VBA
macro named "test." It just puts up a dialog box with the message "success."

Hey all, new to the group.
I have an interesting problem that is driving me quite crazy right now.
When my users are opening excel docs sent from windows users with
Macros, they are getting a "File Format No Longer Supported" error.
