| Weird Workbook Disappearance Behavior | 04 Jan 2006 23:24 GMT | 1 |
After entering or editing an equation in a worksheet cell, the entire workbook disappears as soon as I click or arrow over to another cell. What is extremely odd about the behavior is that the sheet does not reduce down to the dock, it just goes away.

| Simple One | 03 Jan 2006 17:28 GMT | 3 |
I've stumbled my way through most of the conversion pain in going from a PC Excel user to a Mac user (the pain has been minor I must admit). One thing that is very trivial is one that I haven't been able to solve myself. The active cell is highlighted with a light blue border, and ...

I've spent over two hours trying to figure out how NOT to display hyperlinks when I type any part of/or hyperlink. I can change the list to Normal text, but then if I modify a partial hyperlink, there goes the underline and Entourage tries to open. Same with web addresses.

We have a number of spreadsheets that use the scroll bar control to change numbers used by formulas, graphs, etc. On Excel 2001 (v.x) and XP, they work as expected; when you slide the scrollbar, the scrollbar slides in real-time (and the numbers, graph,

Some of the features that are entrenched in the Windows version of Excel were left off when Microsoft developed Office 2004 for MAC. F4 was the default shortcut key to make give a cell reference absolute properties. From reading the Help in Excel 2004 for MAC, it sounds

| Can't open file from PC | 02 Jan 2006 09:54 GMT | 1 |
A friend with a PC has sent me a file (called 'Perfect') that my machine (running OS 10.4.3) sees as an Excel file. When I open it in Excel X, I get a spreadsheet with 3 sheets. Sheets 2 & 3 have no entries. The first sheet (where I assume all the action is), is scrolled all the way ...
