I am trying to send a spreadsheet that uses analysis toolpak functions (e.g., edate, xirr) from a mac user to a Windows user. I have never had a problem before if the recipient had the add-in enabled, but for some reason I am having problems.

How does one get the text of an Excel 2004 comment in Applescript? I've tried such things as "get value of Excel comment", "get text of Excel comment", etc, with no luck. Here's an example based on the sample on page 83 of the Excel 2004 AppleScript reference.

XL 2004 Drop down box font size appears to be same as font used in the sheet When the same workbook is opened in XL 2002, the 12pt Arial in the sheet appears to be about 8pt in the drop down box Anyway of controlling Drop down box font size?

Why is it that I can't seem to set Excel's prefs to NOT display page breaks globally? Whenever i open a new document, I have to go back and reset that preference, which defaults to displaying page breaks every time. It's driving me crazy!
