I've always entered date as yy-mm-dd. In fact when I want to enter Aug 28, 2005, I would only need to enter "5-8-28". With the proper formatting on the cells, the date will be displayed as "2005-08-25", or "050825" or whatever I have formatted it as. My problem started after I ...

I had an Excel workbook open on my powerbook when the computer crashed. When I tried to open the workbook file after rebooting, the file was corrupt. It didn't have any unsaved changes at the time of the crash. What are my options for recovering the data from the corrupted file?

I have a worksheet that formatted with text in each cell, left aligned and vertically aligned to the top. It is scaled to 86%. The text is set to wrap. I also set it to indent 1 space. (But I have tried it without the indent, and it has the same problem described below.)

I have an excel workbook that is 35.1MB this seems massive considering what information is held in it. There are 11 sheets to the document and each page saved separately is about 104KB. I have been coping some of the data to different pages of the workbook for ease of use.
