I'm using 11.1.1, and even after I toggle individual cells for protection,
they are editable after I protect the sheet or entire workbook. Am I missing

Is it possible to acquire a plugin or better still a formulae to calculate
the above in excel for Mac. I am aware of such tools in Excel for Windows.

I am currently working with Excel 2004 for the Mac and created a pivot
table which  worked fine. However, I made a number of format changes to
make the report look better and whenever I refresh the data I lose all
the formatting.

I remember from over 10 years ago that Excel used to have the ability
to automatically run a (startup) macro imbedded within a workbook when
the workbook was opened.

I am wondering if there is any way to do something.  I am creating a
schedule. I have created a list of employee shifts that need to be
filled every day. I have also made a schedule with all of my employees
names going down one column and the dates (Mon.-Sun.) going across.

Recently when I try to open excel by selecting a xls file, it opens up
6 or 7 files. Some are pdfs, doc etc. I have no idea what is going on.
