My keyboard (actually both becasue the same thing is happening with a spare)
has a mind of its own - in the last few days (I must have done something
unknowingly) the left, right, up and down keys no longer move me from one

right on some columns and not on others. I have a document that has many
fields the conditional formatting for contains works on all the columns

There are many occasions when I want to use a variable in a spreadsheet
formula ­ for instance:
R1C1 might have =COUNT(R9C:R100C) giving the result 62 since, on this

the delimiting character from a comma to a semi-colon.  I know this is
straightforward on a PC as it's a setting of the operating system, but

Hello I am trying to set up a job work time sheet for time spent on specific
jobs and I want to total up my hours I tried =Sumc(iC:CH) but it says that
it wont work with empty cells how do you get it to ignore empty cells or
cells that havent had a value added yet

I am having a problem with excel hanging up will sorting colums in a
spreadsheet.  The sheet is about 12000 lines long.  When ever I sort a
column it crunches for 30 minutes before it completes.  In my pc world
it takes all of 5 seconds Please help

I am designing some spreadsheet tools on a Mac that will be used by a
primarily Windows Laptop audience.  When I sent my first draft for review,
the sheets that fit perfectly in my Powerbook monitor were oversized for the
PC by about 150%.
