I have switched over to Excel for Mac 2004 ver 11.1 from XP. If I try to insert a cell, I don't get the dialog box asking me to move right, left, down, up. It "defaults" to inserting a row. Has anyone else had this problem?

ok a simple blank sheet with a button on it that produces a message box that says hello created on the pc. What's the trick to getting it to work on the mac side? Macros have been enabled but the button appears flat and doesn't do anything

Excel X (Version 10.1.6) for Mac quits on my new computer often particularly in Print Preview. This occurs with a single spreadsheet open and few other programs open. My computer: iMac G5 w/ 1 GB SDRAM

Here's a weird one - Excel won't start up - tried reinstalling excel, did complete office install on an external drive, checked updates - doesn't want to play. Word, Powerpoint and Entourage still work.

I¹m using Excel 11.1. Any help I can get would be appreciated. I have a group of numbers that is centered on zero, from minus 1.5 up to positive 1.5. I need a formula or function that will return the maximum deviation from zero, whether it is positive or negative.

I am a new Mac User and I want to put the $ sign in some cells. For instance I want cell C5 to be like C5=$C$4*C10 How do I do this here? In a PC I just had to go on the cell and hit F4. Here this does not work.
