When I'm viewing a web page in Safari, I can drag the icon for that page from where it appears in the Toolbar to the desktop and create a .webloc icon (and, presumably, a type .webloc file). This file presumably contains the URL for the web page, since clicking

| update to 6.2.4? | 05 Apr 2008 04:08 GMT | 12 |
I've been waiting for an update for Eudora for a long time. Will there be one? Is Thunderbird what Eudora is turning into? I've also seen something about Odysseus and various betas of Eudora. (I'm not saying they are in tandem though.)

| Dummy address for outgoing messages? | 03 Apr 2008 05:29 GMT | 2 |
One can use Eudora mailboxes as a very convenient, simple, instantaneous filing system for small bits of data, text notes, etc. Just write a short note with a suitable subject line and email it as a "file only" message to an fcc address like

| OS X: Resource fork, Rsync and Eudora 6.2.4 | 02 Apr 2008 10:50 GMT | 6 |
I'm having problems that sound like the "resource fork" problem mentioned earlier. I have been using Eudora for about 12 years and moved mailboxes 6 or 7 times, but this time it didn't work. What I did was:

| Un-asked-for mailboxes? | 02 Apr 2008 00:22 GMT | 2 |
Recently I've starting seeing a few unwanted mailboxes mysteriously appearing in my Mailboxes folder -- always empty, not names I recognize, though I suppose they may have come from spam or junk emails that passed by me too rapidly to be noticed.
