  One of my users showed me that their Junk folder was full of Junk
marked as "99" that was coming from real users (and not flagged as junk
by our internal SPAM headers.

Is there a way to ensure that Eudora will always, for sure, open using a
single default settings file and other related mail files, other than
locating (and naming) all these files properly?  And, what are the
proper locations?  

Is the conversion to or from old style .toc files likely to correct
errors in email metadata -- screwed up Subject: lines in particular?

I'm having problems that sound like the "resource fork" problem
mentioned earlier. I have been using Eudora for about 12 years and
moved mailboxes 6 or 7 times, but this time it didn't work.
What I did was:

Recently I've starting seeing a few unwanted mailboxes mysteriously
appearing in my Mailboxes folder -- always empty, not names I recognize,
though I suppose they may have come from spam or junk emails that passed
by me too rapidly to be noticed.

I even tried copying the mail folder from my backup, and I still get no
mailboxes.
