Alert sound27 Jan 2008 20:30 GMT4
I'm using Eudora 6.1.1, in OS10.4.11. Previously I was running 10.3.9. I
upgraded yesterday. Everything is fine except...
I have the 'getting attention' alert sound set to 'Attention.aiff',
which is a short aiff file that I made, and which lives in
Moving from Windows to Mac23 Jan 2008 18:43 GMT1
I have followed the advice on the Eudora Tech. support site on how to
move Eudora data from PC to Mac.  For some reason, the use of (ASCII-mode) FTP
didn't work; Eudora on the Mac would report an invalid mailbox format (or
words to that effect) for those mailboxes transferred via ...

I just found others with the same problem on
No response from server error09 Jan 2008 15:40 GMT3
I've begun receiving "Error while performing unknown task for <<Dominant>>  No
response from server for 120 seconds" messages, on two different computers
(Panther and Tiger) on a wireless network (Airport Extreme) using a cable
modem, Lynksis.
One specific email crashes Eudora08 Jan 2008 17:14 GMT2
I received a forwarded email without attachments that when opened
immediately crashed Eudora 6.2.4 using OS 10.5.1 on a mid 2007 2.4gb
Intel iMac. Beach ball spinning forever.  I forced quit and restarted
with no luck more than a few times.

Parts Folder and Spool Folder ?05 Jan 2008 13:47 GMT9
What type of attachments (from outgoing and incoming mail) end up in
these two folders as contrasted to where Attachments are saved?
The answer is probably in the documentation right in front of me but I
haven't found it and I'm curious as to whether I "should" purge these
