For the past few days, my junk mailbox looks different. Many of the
messages say SPAM.

I'm going to switch, going to try to switch ;), my wife from Eudora to
Apple's Mail.
If I use Eudora Mailbox Cleaner will it put Eudora addresses in a
separate folder in Apple's Address Book?

Just a beginner curiosity question.
I was typing an email in Eudora and must have hit a wrong key(s)
possibly including open-Apple.
At that point, the To field changed from what I had entered to something

This blue square with a white number in it, quite large, has suddenly
taken to appearing on my desktop. The number shows how many unread mails
I have in whichever mailbox I'm looking at. I've never seen this before.
It doesn't harm but I wondered why it suddenly appeared.

Having recently had a disk crash, and lost amongst other things, all my
