I'm having a tough time dealing with the Address Book in Eudora paid on this MacBook Pro Intel. Unbeknownst to me, the Palm synch program Missing Synch was synching all my Treo addresses into Eudora. Now I have hundreds --- maybe a few thousand --- entries in one of my

I'm looking for an e-mail client for my Mac, since I find that Mac's Mail is not up to my standards. I've looked at the Eudora features page, and it doesn't answer my questions. Would you kindly answer the questions below.

I use Eudora Pro 4.2 on my Mac OS 8.6. It seems like every 6 months I get a message saying something like "Mailbox is damaged. Shall I rebuild a new table of contents?" Options are OK or Cancel and I hit OK and lose hundreds of important emails.

| Eudora 6.2.3 and IMAP sent mail | 09 Mar 2007 16:48 GMT | 3 |
Is there any way to get Eudora 6.2.3/6.2.4 to save all sent mail on the server under IMAP? All documents I've seen thus far seem to indicate that Eudora only saves sent mail locally in the Out mailbox.

| Ad delivery may have ceased (Sponsored mode) | 07 Mar 2007 02:55 GMT | 3 |
According to the Eudora for Windows forum (and to as much personal testing as I could do, including noting the apparent clearance of ad graphics from server ads.eudora.com),

| Ports and Protocols | 01 Mar 2007 17:57 GMT | 9 |
I was just comparing Eudora and Mail. It looks to me as if Mail will allow the use of the standard POP and SMTP ports on one account but alternate ones on another account, whereas Eudora will insist on only one POP port and only one SMTP port.
