My mail to one particular friend seems not to be getting through at the
moment. One possibility is that her ISP's spamtrap is rejecting mail
from my ISP. That's happened in the past, though there haven't been
reports on my ISP's forum very recently.
Does Eudora Phone Home???27 Feb 2007 05:42 GMT12
I recently installed a program named Little Snitch on this MacBookPro,
and one of the first requests for permission to "phone home" was for
something named "fatboy-vip.qualcomm.com on TCP port 80."
I presume this has something to do with Eudora contacting it's
Attachments in strange places25 Feb 2007 09:32 GMT6
A financial company sends me two reports each month by e-mail. Both are
called reports.pdf, so I get one file called "reports.pdf" and one
called "reports 1.pdf".
I just went looking for one from a couple of months ago, and find that
Plain text and ">" Reply-characters24 Feb 2007 21:16 GMT3
Been using Mac Eudora for c.15 years.  Just moved to 6.2.4.
I like to use Plain Text for all messages.  Ours is a predominantly
Outlook Exchange institution, so naturally I receive dozens of rich-text
(or worse) messages.  When I reply to these, I would like the quoted
All the "last" versions for different Mac OS versions?22 Feb 2007 01:51 GMT2
my rather strange question: Now that Eudora is going to be history
soon, I'd like to collect all the "last" versions for all the past
versions of the Mac OS pre-OS X (I have a large collection of old Macs
going back to System 6). One can usually find the last *free* (Light)
Remembering Passwords17 Feb 2007 08:11 GMT5
I'm using Eudora paid on my Macs.
I cannot recall how to tell Eudora to remember a password.  Have set
up a new .mac alias account, and Eudora is prompting me every 10
minutes (my default time for checking for mail) for the password.
Corrupt file- how does it work?17 Feb 2007 03:41 GMT8
Yesterday I had an incident with a corrupt file that crashed Eudora an
fetching mail. It did it twice (I wasn't sure what had happened the
first time). Both times it crashed Eudora and I had to rebuild the In
and Trash mailboxes. No great problem because all the mail that matters
Eudora Auto-Complete Addresses16 Feb 2007 17:25 GMT6
I am using paid Eudora on my Macs.
There are several mistakes in my address Auto-Complete file and I'd
like to correct (or delete) them.  Does anyone know how to do that on
the Mac?  Where is that file and what is it's path?  Presumably it's a
Eudora auto trashes mail sent.09 Feb 2007 21:34 GMT3
I'm using Eudora 6.2.1 on a PB G4 with OS 10.3.9. All of a sudden when I send an
e-mail it is immediately sent to trash.  Seems like I saw a check box for that once,
went through the prefs but didn't find it
Does anybody out there know where it is?
Punctuation in 6.201 Feb 2007 14:58 GMT1
I seem to be having a problem with punctuation since upgrading to 6.2
Please see below.
didnèt   Yourès   wonèt    havenèt     Canèt   etc
That should be a apostrophe (') not as shown above.
