Anyone using MrPostman app?29 Nov 2006 05:22 GMT33
Is anyone using MrPostman, the Java interface that reads web mail pages such
as Yahoo and Hotmail and inputs it into mail clients such as Eudora? I can
find no documentation, either that came with the installer or on the web site
<http://mrpostman.sourceforge.net/>.

I've been getting a ton of spam with subject line "<person's name>

Suddenly I'm printing landscape style27 Nov 2006 01:55 GMT1
Without changing a thing, my Eudora printouts turned from portrait to
landscape yesterday and I don't know how to change them back.
Best version.23 Nov 2006 17:39 GMT2
Hey you all,
What do you feel is the best, and stable version for OS 9?
And where can I still get it?
Thanks,
Have your say on Penelope features!21 Nov 2006 12:04 GMT3
The Penelope project seems to be making progress. At present, they are
trying to identify the important features that Eudora users want that
are not already in Thunderbird.
The relative priorities are being determined by a voting scheme using

Eudora/Penelope newsgroup19 Nov 2006 16:19 GMT37

Above is not meant to curtail discussion here, but meant to be a group
to discuss the Penelope project (more than the transition or current
Eudora issues).
Eudora won't send mail through Verizon service19 Nov 2006 03:37 GMT13
When I visit other networks (friends' homes and companies for work) I can
check my mail with no issues at all. But when i try to send mail, sometimes
changing the outgoing mail server is all that is required, and sometimes it
gets downright Machiavellian. Some outgoing servers ...
Mark as Read?16 Nov 2006 20:57 GMT15
Is there any keyboard shortcut for marking one or a bunch of messages
as read?  (as there is, say in most newsreaders)
I sometimes collect mail at home and on the road, and I'd like a way to
select a column of messages and simply mark them as read.
How change outgoing SMTP port?13 Nov 2006 20:52 GMT4
My ISP is going to change the port on my SMTP server so that I can get
around a port 25 block at the hotel I'm staying at.
I can't find the Eudora 6.2 preference to set the SMTP port.
Anyone know where this is? Or do I put it in the smtp server, like
Open Source Eudora...09 Nov 2006 08:31 GMT7
...it's for real!

My only question is will Thunderbird eat Eudora, or the other way
around? I just can't deal with the 3-pane interface! :-)
filter by attachment?08 Nov 2006 22:38 GMT13
I'm using Eudora 6.0.2.  It doesn't look as if it is possible to filter
messages based on attachment type (e.g., .gif).  Is such filtering
possible in a newer version?
Thanks,
No Queued Message in OUT Box05 Nov 2006 19:45 GMT2
After preparing a message and Queuing it- for sending later, the message
does not appear in the OUT box as it used to with the Q next to it.
This state of affairs began with 6.2 and after an upgrade to 6.2.4 still
persists.
