There have been very few postings to this news group lately. Why?
And why do I get more than 500 junk messages a day. not all of which go
into my junk mailbox.

I am using the latest of all software on the mac. I have just
transferred files with some difficulty (disk crashes) onto a MacBook
Pro. When checking mail in Eudora I get the following alert box:

I could probably ferret out whether or not this is possible, but someone
may already know it. A lot of junk mail now escapes the spam filter and
the common element is that they have a gif attachment. Is there any way
that standard Eudora filters can identify a gif attachment and can ...
