| Importing Eudora mail into Apple Mail | 30 Nov 2005 19:50 GMT | 8 |
Having used Eudora for too many years, I now have a real mess in the references to attachments. Many of the attachments are no longer accessible from the messages that they arrived in, even though they are still in the attachments folder.

| Eudora could handle 18.000 mails on an IMAP account | 27 Nov 2005 00:12 GMT | 8 |
An "accident" happened and both T3+ connected mail servers flooded eachother with endless response. I woke up and saw "8000" on Eudora icon, thought it was sort of bug. It wasn't :)

| Watch symbol keeps appearing | 26 Nov 2005 16:32 GMT | 9 |
I am using Eudora 6.2, sponsored mode, on OS 10.4.3 - maybe I should upgrade. I find that after I have read my messages, the cursor in Eudora keeps flickering between the arrow (which is the normal cursor) and the watch

| eudora shortcut | 26 Nov 2005 08:32 GMT | 3 |
I need a shortcut to transfer the selected mail to a folder called 'temporary', avoiding to do that with drag and drop everytime (dozens in a day). It needs human wise, so an automatic filter would be useless. In OSX's Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts it's possible to set

| In box messages are blank | 26 Nov 2005 06:48 GMT | 5 |
I am unsing OS X ver. 10.2.8 and Eudora 6.2 - I this has been working satisfactorily until this week. Wondering if I have a virus because... Yesterday (9/22/05) I opened my In box to look at a message that came in last week. When I clicked on the message it opened as a long narrow,

| Eudora constantly accessing h.d.? | 24 Nov 2005 07:58 GMT | 3 |
Eudora 6.2 (Mac OS X) is accessing my hard disk about once a second. It never seems to end. Except when I quit Eudora, then... silence. What is it doing that requires all that crunching? OS X 10.3.9

| Semi OT: Good Newsreader for OSX? | 22 Nov 2005 06:45 GMT | 17 |
I've used MT-Newswatcher for years with OS 8/9.x and been quite happy with it. I'm now migrating to OSX and tried Newswatcher-X. blechh. The Newswatcher for OSX is lame unfortunately. Suggestions solicited. What are you using?

| Attachments vs Inserts? | 17 Nov 2005 03:20 GMT | 4 |
Appreciate a bit of education on attachments vs inserts in outgoing Eudora emails: If I drag a graphic file (PDF, JPEG) into the address area of an outgoing Eudora message; it appears as an attachment (by name), but not

| Attachment statement or icon no longer showing up in sent mail... how to fix? | 17 Nov 2005 03:20 GMT | 7 |
It used to be that when I re-read an old Eudora message, one that had an attachment, a statement would show up at the end of the e-mail identifying which document had been sent. i could even forward the message to have the actual icon reappear which would allow me to see

| IMAP: change trash folder? | 15 Nov 2005 00:29 GMT | 3 |
Is it possible to tell Eudora which folder on the imap-server to use for trash? Eudora automatically created a folder called "Trash" on my imap-account. Unfortunately, this folder in German is ususally called "Gelöscht"

| How do I...? | 13 Nov 2005 20:30 GMT | 7 |
Just upgraded to a new G5 and tried out Apple Mail. I'm sure it's great, but I'm just so used to Eudora (been using it since System 7x on my old Mac Classic II). I tried, but can't give up Eudora. So I've got my old settings from my old Eudora (Version 5.x, was

I'm trying to find out where in coming email attachments are directed. I'm curious plus I'm trying to make sure when I get spam I delete any associated attachments. I know I can set an attachments folder for downloads but I gather some

| Logging Sent Messages? | 09 Nov 2005 22:52 GMT | 1 |
Is there any built-in capability (e.g., a preference or filter action) in Eudora that can automatically log just a few selected headers (maybe just Date:. To:, Cc: and Subject: headers) for _all_ Sent messages to a designated log file?

| How to transfer mail from Eudora to Eudora? | 08 Nov 2005 05:46 GMT | 5 |
I need to transfer Eudors mail from one computer to another. Sometimes from my Powerbook 3400c/8.6/Eudora light to my PM 7200/8.6/Eudora Light, sometimes between Mac computers when I am upgrading to a 'new' computer. Is there an easy way way to transfer individual e-mails or ...

| Long mailing list not permitted | 06 Nov 2005 18:56 GMT | 2 |
I send out mail to a long list of people (from whom I have permission, so it is not spam). In the past, I simply sent it to the nickname from my address book, but now I am getting a strange message telling me that the mailing list is too long.
