Can I turn off the whole Recipient History List function in Eudora? -- a pref or setting somewhere? (I just don't want all this automatic stuff happening; want to know and control what goes in my address book myself only.)

| Create "From" addresses on-the-fly? | 30 Aug 2005 06:23 GMT | 5 |
Since I own some domains that are only used by myself (i.e. they're not "company" domains), I have all email sent to those domains hard-mapped to a single "catchall" mailbox. In other words... if my domain were (hypothetical example) foo.com, it would make no difference whether you

I'm new back to Eudora. I used it for sometime when I was stuck in windows. Question: If Eudora provides HTML support, why do all my messages that come in HTML not render properly? They are at times unreadable. In fact, most of the time they look pretty bad. I have the ...

I finally upgraded from Eudora 5 to Eudora 6 (specifically 6.2.1). I thought it would help monitor for spam and to figure out who I might want to add to my address book to use the filter option "From" "Doesn't intersect address book."

I use Eudora 6.23 with OSX10.3.8 to check three mailboxes. The task bar shows progress through the first two, then disappears. Then the program behaves as if it is in a frozen state- I can click on nothing- while the third mailbox is being checked. It takes a long time

| 6.1 very slow checking mail lately | 17 Aug 2005 12:31 GMT | 2 |
Eudora 6.1 used to be fast but is now very slow checking mail while my browser is very snappy - which makes me think the ISP is ok. I don't think the open mailboxes are especially large & I have lots of memory. Could it be slow SPAM filtering?

Just installed Eudora 6.2.3 on my new iMac G5 (OS X version 10.4.2). While creating personalities, Eudora won't let me name them. Whenever I name a personality, Eudora warns that naming it will make the personality dominant. Sometimes it makes it dominant even when I hit
