I find that the spell checker for Eudora isn't nearly as 'smart' as the spell
checker in TextEdit for example when suggesting corrections.
Is there a way to improve this?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?  Maybe it will just wait until
the port to Cocoa is finished ?

I know about false alerts but I checked the update log of virusbarrier
(intego), its not the issue. It was fine before.
Whatever I do, it says "corrupted file found" , e.g. Inbox is
corrupted, "In" is corrupted, they display fine though.

I used SuperPaint from Silicon Beach Software for many of the
illustrations in a brochure I created. When I moved up to OS X and a G-4
without a floppy disk drive, I could no longer use it. Now I need to
edit some of those illustrations and don't know how to do it in Photoshop.

Is there a Eudora setting for setting the default color of text in Reply?
(I mean the preset color of the new text when I start typing -- not the
content I'm replying to, which is marked by "> " at the start of each
line.  I want my reply text to be in Red, for example.)

I need to access a POP mailbox for a friend whose computer is broken. He
gave me all the information necessary to set it up in my Eudora 6.1.1 on
MacOS 9.2.2.

Recently I installed version 6.2.1. When I click on "Check Mail" there
is no alert stating that there is no new mail as there was in previous
versions. Has that feature been dropped?
