Can I remove "Search Web" from the toolbar?26 May 2005 07:39 GMT3
I never use "Search Web" and would love to have the extra space on the
toolbar for some more custom buttons. Can this be done? I looked in
X-Eudora-Settings, but it doesn't look like it's in there. Can anybody
help me with this?
Changing Quote character23 May 2005 15:10 GMT3
I much prefer the ">" symbol to denote quoting but for quite awhile now
Eudora prefers the vertical bar.
If I reply to an email the quoted material has the bar but if I select
that same material and wrap the text it changes to the >.

fed up with Message > Change > Transliteration > Repair Winlatin  21 May 2005 18:52 GMT2

Some time ago I learned here from you that the way to get rid of the
ugly characters caused by Windows senders is a plug-in which I should
activate with each corrupted message by selecting Message > Change >

Why won't Eudora recognise the Excalibur spellchecker in the open dialog

Eudora locks up when filtering (IMAP)19 May 2005 13:46 GMT7
I've got some kind of connectivity problem with my ISP regarding retrieving
mail from the (IMAP) server ("transferring"). Coincidental and unrelated (I
think), as I watch the Status dialog in Eudora I see that after it downloads
the messages and begins filtering, it hangs in the ...

Eudora for Mac user.. v 6.2, sponsored mode. OSX 10.3.8
I've used the Address book to contain mail lists for years. Generally
about 100 entries in a listing (for instance: "newyorkfriends").
difference betw. forward & reply13 May 2005 16:04 GMT9
When I forward a message: I get the lines: Date:, To:, &c. I don't get
them with replies. Sometimes I need them though, for easier referencing.
Where can I set Eudora to give me those lines in a reply as well?
Thanks,   Stof
ERROR: Couldn't start that application -12011 May 2005 04:03 GMT4
I'm using 6.0.2 with SpamSieve 2.3.
Recently, I've been getting the above error message whenever I search
for mail and it seems related to SpamSieve's really lousy accuracy. I'm
getting the most obvious of spam pouring thru the sieve, something that

I have a comcast.net e-mail address and another (let's call it

who aren't me but at comcast.net, as in joeblow@comcast.net. I tried to
set up a filter that would trash any messages that do not contain

Links die when pasted from browser to Eudora05 May 2005 08:10 GMT1
Just wondering about something that I see was mentioned a couple years
ago here, but hopefully there've been some changes. The problem, as
stated in the subject, is that I like to be able to paste articles that
contain links into email messages so that my recipients can click on
