Searching local IMAP mailbox?29 Mar 2005 17:19 GMT6
I'm using Eudora Pro to manage my IMAP mail account. I keep all copies of
received messages in the Inbox mailbox, which means I have all the message
bodies on my hard drive.
When I do a search (Opt-Cmd-F) and specify Inbox, Eudora goes to the IMAP

except for the email address.
Manual for 6.1.1? (pre-OSX)26 Mar 2005 00:42 GMT1
Is there a (downloadable) manual for 6.1.1? (pre-OSX)?
The current website seems to have only the one for 6.2.1...
Thanks
(I have the one for 6.0, but I've noticed a few small differences
"error saving the mail"26 Mar 2005 00:05 GMT1
Eudora (6.1, on a 9.1 system) has started telling me each time I try to
check my mail:
Error while checking mail...
There was an error saving the mail. (706); {30:1591}
Password Change Help Please23 Mar 2005 21:07 GMT2
I have five different accounts that Eudora checks... somehow, the
password has stopped working for one of them.  I'm sure things haven't
changed on the server, so I need to reenter the password into Eudora...
My dilemma is, that while Eudora gives me the "-ERR invalid password"
Dragging Opened Message to Different Mailbox23 Mar 2005 08:46 GMT1
Using 6.2.1 now.  The icon of the tow-truck is gone; now one has to drag
the title-bar icon of the message.  A few inches of dragging a smaller
icon FURTHER isn't too fun with a track-ball and big screen.  Is there
some other quicker way to drag a message to a new mailbox?
Task progress window23 Mar 2005 07:06 GMT1
I know there was a discussion about this topic here recently, but it
deteriorated into other matters and I could not get far enough back to
find out anything about the task progress window.
When I chek for incoming mail, the window does not open.
"Not Junk" Emails Keep Going to "Junk"18 Mar 2005 20:32 GMT3
I receive emails from one specific email address that always get sent
to Junk, even after I designate it "Not Junk"...
Shouldn't the filters 'remember' this 'not junk' designation and stop
junking it?
repeated useless pauses in Eudora 6.0 and Mac OS X 10.316 Mar 2005 17:26 GMT3
All,
I'm using Eudora 6.0 on a G4. After upgrading from Jaguar to Panther
(10.2.x to 10.3.x) Eudora has started pausing for 4-5 seconds every
other minute or so. The rainbow pinwheel spins even though there's
Escaping from IMAP?16 Mar 2005 07:47 GMT3
Executive summary:
I converted the Eudora settings for my university email account from POP
to IMAP (and it worked); decided I wanted to convert back to POP and
tried to do so; and now can't read any mail at all.  Any suggestions as
Don't forget the restart15 Mar 2005 22:59 GMT3
A cautionary tale: I'm using Eudora 6.1.1 in OS 10.2.6 and I really
don't have any complaints at all. But just lately it had begun to
misbehave in a trivial way- the mailbox names in the 'Mailboxes' window
(which I keep permanently open down the right hand side in a custom

I am running Eudora 6.1 in Mac OS9.1 and get the error message,
"While checking for dominant Cannot communicate with with Kerberos (-43

Eudora used to work fine with Earthlink. Could someone please tell me
you have mail message15 Mar 2005 18:53 GMT9
Just curious. How come when Eudora (v6.2) tells me I have mail,
sometimes the message has three little pigs on it and other times it has
one of those cartoon balloon things with an exclamation mark?
Eudora not synchronizing certain mailboxes?13 Mar 2005 19:13 GMT2
I'm using Eudora Pro 6.2.2 (Mac) as the IMAP client for my mail account.
When I receive a message at one of my mail addresses (filtered on the mail
server), it appears in the appropriate mailbox on the server. I can check
this using the web interface to the mail account.
