Having filters append subject?14 Jan 2005 17:46 GMT9
I'm curious if I can use Eudora 6.2 Pro's filters to append to a subject
based on the filtering criteria.
I have several email addresses at my domain that all filter down to one
address. I'd like to sort out incoming mail into different folders (or,

I am using Eudora 6,  OSX  10.3.6.  Two people I send e-mail to (both PC
users) claim they can't open the attachments that are sent in Word
format  x.doc.  They both respond  " I can't open MIME".  One has AOL,
the other, not.
Eudora problems after OS 10.3.7 update11 Jan 2005 05:17 GMT6
Are there any known problems (and fixes!) about Eudora 6.1.1 and the
latest OS.  After installing 10.3.7, Eudora has been experiencing a
bunch of problems, most notably the indefinitely spinning beach ball and
the need to "Force Quit".  It has closed spontaneously a time or two.  ...

Sniff.
OK, now I've done it. I've jumped to Mail.app. Sorry - the last time I
had to set up Eudora to handle SSL and separate authentication of POP
and SMTP was so full of problems, inexplicable snafus and workarounds

Firefox frys
Jeg er foruroliget over at Firefox ser ut til å krasje relativt ofte,
faktisk oftere enn noe annet på maskinen, kanskje - og bare kanskje -
med unntak av MS Word. Såvidt jeg kan se skjer det helst når det er
Change new msg default window position06 Jan 2005 23:47 GMT3
Eudora 6.0.2, OS 10.2.8
Eudora always opens a new message window in the upper left hand corner
of the screen and I'm constantly dragging it to the center before
composing the message.  A bit annoying.  Anyone know if it is possible
Rebuilding Links to Attachments?06 Jan 2005 12:17 GMT2
A corrupt hard drive recently forced me to reinstall Eudora's latest and
greatest for OS X, and revert to a backup of my Eudora folder. It wasn't
until a week or so later when I noticed that I couldn't open older
attachments from any mailbox window; I had to get the name of the

I'm running Eudora 6.1 on a Mac under OS 10.3.  A friend on the other
side of the country from me, an AOL subscriber using a Windows machine,
has never been able to open an attachment sent by me.  Claims that I'm
the only person whose attachments she can't open.  No one else has ...
Move Attachments to Trash?01 Jan 2005 22:15 GMT1
Can I make a filter action to Move Attachments to the Trash (the "real

PLEASE reply to me directly (cc group if you like). Thanks!
Eudora's text-selection drives me up the wall. Picture you are about
