Sudden crash when spellchecking30 Jan 2005 23:01 GMT9
I've been using 6.1.1 for some time now on my OS
10.3.7 and prior. The spell check always worked
fine, I often add words to the dictionary, etc.
Suddenly yesterday the instant I control-click on
Eudora 6.2 add button to toolbar30 Jan 2005 04:21 GMT3
Command-click between two toolbar buttons gives me the "remove" button
option and not "add" button in Eudora 6.2 OSX. Someone said here that
there's a setting in Moving Around regarding this, but I don't see it.
The Eudora manual says that command-click is for adding a button. ...
Removing "Junk" functionality from Eudora 6.1?29 Jan 2005 00:12 GMT7
Is there a way to disable, turn off, effectively remove the "Junk"
function that's now in Eudora 6.1?  (so that it not only doesn't
function, but you don't see any of its windows or operations)
Alternatively, if it has to operate, is there a way to turn off its

Inserting a received header26 Jan 2005 15:25 GMT5

the very last stage, when mail get POP'ed to the user workstation.
Is there any way to get Eudora to stuff a header into the message as
torn paper icon in emails- still26 Jan 2005 02:59 GMT2
I often receive emails with no pictures or links, just in their place an
icon that looks like a piece of torn paper.
In Settings-> Fonts and display I have that set to 'Automatically
download HTML graphics' (the box is checked). Is there another setting
Extra Column in Junk Mail List?25 Jan 2005 18:46 GMT2
There's an additional narrow column, with numbers in it, that appears in
the Junk mail list between the Priority and Attachments columns.  Icon
at the top is undecipherable, by me anyway.
Trivial point, but what is this and why is it there?  (and why doesn't
how do I set prefs to ALWAYS select a font for my messages?25 Jan 2005 12:54 GMT2
This drives me nuts! I know there should be a way to set the prefs so that all
my messages are set in a
one font, without swiping and picking the font each time. I can't find it in the
prefs settings, I can't
why torn paper icons in emails?24 Jan 2005 12:24 GMT1
Is there some setting I should alter with Eudora 6.2 (OSX) and 6.11
(OS9.1) as I often receive emails where icons in them look like a sheet
of torn paper.
Why aren't these pictures of links loading?
Mac OSX and Eudora Classic email copying?24 Jan 2005 01:19 GMT21
I want to copy my Eudora emails over from an older machine running
system 9.1. I want to have these emails available in Eudora 6.11 which I
have installed in the Classic environment and also to Eudora 6.2 which I
have installed in OSX.
Delete a message from inbox: what message is selected after deletion...seems random21 Jan 2005 02:21 GMT2
I hope someone here can help. I've done many searches on combinations
of "delete message annoying jump" etc. and can't find an answer. Nor
could I find one on the Eudora tech support FAQs or knowledge base.
Sometimes (quite often, in fact) when I delete the currently selected

Can I merge mailbox from 2 computers?18 Jan 2005 00:49 GMT2
I had to drop off my Pismo laptop for repair for a couple of weeks and
used my wife's new G3 iBook, into which I'd loaded a few years worth of
filed email.
I did some freelance writing, carried on more correspondence with old
PopMonitor doesn't like Eudora OSX?16 Jan 2005 22:04 GMT4
Sorry for cross-posting this here and on another group, but I realize
now that I should've posted it here.
I've been a long-time user of PopMonitor with OS9, using it to monitor
email and then receive it in Eudora (sponsored) for years. I installed
