Not sure which group to post this....hope this is correct.
When I send emails with files (MS Word docs) attached to Yahoo
addresses, those recipients get two files for each one I send. One is
very small and gibberish. The other is the file I sent.

Gmail now has pop access. I got it to work in apples mail app as a test
but i can't get it to work in Eudora which is what i use for e-mail.
I set it up according to the gmail docs and i access the gmail pop
server and it appears to be fine but then nothing is sent to eudora.

I am converting from Eudora 5.2 on Windows 98 to Eudora 6.2 on a Mac

Gmail sends some non-standard extra lines in the header of each e-mail
sent from a gmail-account.
I think it is ugly.
How can I tell Eudora to hide those lines?

Before my big crash, I had to provide my password only at startup in the

I may have missed something, but how do you do that? On my computer at

I can't see how to set my Eudora prefs so that when I click 'reply', the
original message is prefixed by "John Smith wrote:" or whatever.   It must
be possible to do this, but how?

I used to have nicknames in which the first addressee was my own e-mail
address and all the rest followed a Bcc:
But that doesn't work anymore and Eudora now scrambles the nicknkames in

ALL the Eudora Windows close.  As far as I can see, they are still there
in the right mailbox; they just close.
