I am using 6.2 on OS X 10.3.6. I have the normal alert on for incoming emails, but I want certain mails to go into their mailboxes, the mailbox to open, but I don't want the normal alert. I can almost do this with filters. I have this sequence of actions:

I just recently terminated an account with my DSL provider (I kept a different dial-up account the whole time) and my Eudora (6.1) keeps checking for email from it...I changed all the settings to just the dial-up's servers, in Internet Config as well, so I can't figure out

| Filters (why do they sometimes not work?) | 15 Nov 2004 19:57 GMT | 1 |
Are there tricks spammers can use to avoid Eudora filters? (or things I need to do to make filters fully effective?) I will sometimes Kill a Subject string in a newsgroup window, usually trimming it down to just a key word or two to try to catch additional

| Any experience with Spamnix plugin "Attach Reminder?" | 14 Nov 2004 17:14 GMT | 6 |
I'm thinking about trying the Spamnix plugin "Attach Reminder." Has anyone tried it? What do you think about it? I have a terrible time remembering to actually attach my supply requests when I send what purports to be a supply request. It has happened so often that it's

| Turning off graphical emoticons | 11 Nov 2004 21:05 GMT | 2 |
Eudora 'helpfully' changes smileys, e.g. :-) into (imho horrible) little yellow images. Has anyone figured out how to turn them off?

| Fixing corrupted mailboxes | 10 Nov 2004 20:54 GMT | 3 |
Hello, and thanks in advance for any help. I am using version 6 under OS 9.2.2 but I think the question relates to newer versions and OS X as well. I have a corrupted mailbox (the In box) which has been allowed to become too large. When messages are opened, I often see parts of ...
