| How to reply *above* quoted text? | 29 Nov 2004 20:29 GMT | 41 |
This is probably something that Qualcomm has long since corrected, but I'm having no luck finding a setting that will make Eudora 5.1 place the cursor *above* quoted text rather than below when replying (I checked the x-settings list to no avail). I'm surprised that the default

My mail server moved at work. So I had to change it in Eudora. After the change, all my IMAP mailbox reloaded. It asked me the name of my Trash mailbox, and I told it. However, I was never asked about the Junk mailbox. Now, every few

| Exporting Eudora's address book | 25 Nov 2004 01:48 GMT | 2 |
How can I export the address book as either a vCard or LDIF file so that I can import it into Apple's Address Book? Can Eudora use Apple's Address Book directly or does it have to be imported into Eudora?

| Proper reply attribution - how? | 22 Nov 2004 04:09 GMT | 9 |
I was wondering how to set up Eudora 6 (OSX 10.3.5) to add a leading line à la "On 19/10/2004, at 11:06, (sender's name) wrote:" . I'm aware that it does exactly that when I select "Reply to all" however not when replying to a single address. I'm on a few mailing lists and I

I have been having no end of trouble with Eudora crashing during delivery of email. It pulls it off the server, but almost always takes 30 + mins to actually deliver the email and frequently crashes. This used to only happen on Mondays (I rarely check mail over the

| Search on IMAP-server | 20 Nov 2004 02:54 GMT | 3 |
Why does Eudora need to be online when I search in mailboxes on an IMAP-server? The content of the IMAP-mailboxes are all cached locally, on my HD. Any fix for this?

| 6.2: Quartz rendering! | 19 Nov 2004 21:12 GMT | 6 |
is this some bigger news? or did I miss something in 6.1, or before? Eudora 6.2 now supports Quartz font rendering (see the Font&Display settings) -- that's good, isnt it? Remember the days when some people were trying to get Silk (utility from Unsanity to enable Quartz

| Purging junk mail | 19 Nov 2004 04:50 GMT | 3 |
I always purge my junk mail daily. It is set up to delete everything older than one day (including a million come-ons for fake Rolex watches). For the past few days, however, the purging has been spotty and hasleft a lot of stuff on from previous days. What should I do?

| can't send to an address gleaned from yahoo | 18 Nov 2004 03:24 GMT | 8 |
I signed up for Freecycle last month, kind of a club existing via Yahoo with chapters around the country. I post an offer or a wanted on the Yahoo site, and people email me directly saying they'll take what I'm offering, or to offer what I'm asking for. I open their responses in
