After freezing up on me (OS X.3.2 on a B/W G3) Eurora refused to open -
actually, to be fair, she said she was UNABLE to continue - telling me
that my setting were corrupted, but that ResEdit might be able to

I'd like to export the address book from Eudora and import it into
Apple Mail, but I find no export command for that purpose in Eudora,
and no automated way to accomplish this in Mail. After making the

When I try to open my main installation of Eudora on my system hard
drive, the splash comes up, and a bit of the menu bar in the
background. And the beach ball spins. That's as far as it gets; I have
to force quit.

I used to get a window saying there was no new mail - now it checks and
nothing happens.  This was synonymous with the number of email messages
appearing on the icon on the dock.

Eudora 6.1 Eudora insists on rebuilding Out Table of Contents with each
letter I send. This takes the better part of a minute each time and
seems to leave me with messages that are queued rather than mailed.
This isn't quite as annoying as when the Inbox did the same, but close.

I have an addressee who uses Postini as their corporate email filter.  Every
time I try to send them email via Eudora 6.1.1, I get an error from Eudora
saying that the user doesn't exist (error message reads:  Can't send to
"<username@company>"; SMTP server says "554 Sorry, no ...

Is there a trick or a hack that when a mail partially downloads that
you could have the fetch over write the partial mail so as to not
having a copy of each in the mail box?

I installed a copy of Eudora 6.1 on a Mac with OS 9.2.  I configured
it for SSL as required by my mail server.  Problem is, it acts like
it's checking for mail, and returns the "no new mail" message, but it

I can´t seem to find any solution to how I import my contacts from the  
standard adressbook in OSX. When you try to import adressbook through  
Apple Mail it doesn´t get the adresses. Does anyone know a solution to  
this problem?

I'm trying to upgrade to 6.1.1.  However, the installer quits after
installing 10-15 of 70 items, and says it was successful, but it
doesn't actually update the application.

I note an irritating little change in behaviour, and I can't find any
way to disable it.

Semi-regularly, I get this error when sending mail via Eudora:
"Can't send to "<for@example.org>". SMTP server says "550 5.7.1
<for@example.org>... Relaying denied. You must check for new mail before
sending mail.".

I work for a journal and we send out manuscripts for review in .pdf
format. The editor, of course, gets the MS first. She also gets Ccs of
every other email I send out, usually including four that have the MS
attached as well. She is drowning in .pdf files.

The New Beta has no Scripts menu and my Scripts are gone.
How can I get a Scripts menu item again?

I am using the free version of Eudora 6.1 on a Mac. I am looking to
include hyperlinks in my emails.
Can anyone help me with that. I can't get the knowledge search to work
on their website.
