| Settings file doesn't copy? | 21 Jun 2004 21:41 GMT | 1 |
I'm curious about this.... I copy my Eudora folder from my OS 8.6 Mac to my OS X Mac over out LAN. When I do, sometimes, but not always, the Settings file is not in the copied folder (just the Settings.bkup file). Other times the complete

| avoiding spam problem | 21 Jun 2004 07:33 GMT | 7 |
Generally I can recognize from the headers which incoming e-mail is spam that made it past my filters and simply trash it un-opened. Once in a while I am uncertain. Realizing that some malicious e-mail has visble or invisible coding

| Old Eudora Folder w/ Eudora 6 | 20 Jun 2004 20:21 GMT | 3 |
I've installed Eudora 6.1 on a new Mac running OS X. I thought I could just copy my Eudora Folder from my old Mac (running Eudora 4.2 with OS 8.6) and my wife's Eudora Folder as well from her Mac. But I keep getting error messages when trying to launch from my settings

| Using 2 Eudora Folders? | 20 Jun 2004 00:29 GMT | 2 |
I'm a long time user of Eudora but never with 2 users on one machine so these are probably very beginner questions. My wife and I are going to "share" ;) a PB for travel. I have just downloaded Eudora on the new PB but have not installed it

| How Do I move mail from 4.2.2 to OS10.3.2? | 20 Jun 2004 00:14 GMT | 3 |
Just joined the list, so, if this has been asked previously, please excuse an old fud. BTW: This isn't a troll. I really need to know. We're currently running 9.1 on a 7300/200 and using Eudora 4.2.2. We're going to switch to an iMac running 10.3.2 (later upgrade to 10.3.3), and

| Junk woes | 19 Jun 2004 23:09 GMT | 4 |
I'm having troubles with Junk -- it seems that *everything* goes into my Junk folder, regardless of the Junk score. Nothing goes into my in-box anymore, and if I use command-J to unjunk things, future mailings from the same address are still Junked.

| Eudora--can't send mail | 17 Jun 2004 22:33 GMT | 1 |
I have been having a periodic (every couple of months approx.) "cannot send mail" (but can receive mail) problem (using Eudora). The last time it happened, my ISP's tech support said, "We blocked your sending ability because you exceeded the 'no more than 250 emails in a 5-minute ...

| Cache folder is immense | 17 Jun 2004 07:16 GMT | 4 |
I just opened my Eudora folder in OS X and inside I found a cache folder. It includes all the logos and other art sent to me by advertisers and takes up a lot of room. Is there any way to keep this monster tame?

| Suppressing automatic opening of windows | 16 Jun 2004 17:26 GMT | 3 |
If I check my account the mail is filtered into various mailboxes. Unfortunately Eudora (6.1.1) opens a window for each mailbox that has a new message in it. Is there a way to stop that? I just do not like to have a dozen windows popping up if I check my mail.

| Problems with Eudora in OS X | 16 Jun 2004 15:27 GMT | 2 |
I am migrating one of our users over to OS X and have run into a strange situation when it comes to Eudora's handling of email attachments. Both Eudora 4 (running in Classic mode) and Eudora 6 (running OS X native) will occasionally take a message with

| What is a "Quick Recipient?" | 15 Jun 2004 14:49 GMT | 5 |
How is the "Forward To" menu item supposed to work? I'm guessing that I must define and/or perhaps install some folks as Quick Recipients, but I can find nothing in the documentation about how to do this or even what a QR is. Any pointers?

| Eudora and Korean | 14 Jun 2004 19:44 GMT | 2 |
Does anybody know how to use Eudora with Korean text? I've looked around the net and found a few good references for how to do it using Eudora 5x. I have not found anything for Eudora 6.1. I'm using OS 10.3.4. TIA

| how to defeat didtheyreadit.com | 14 Jun 2004 14:52 GMT | 9 |
OK, all you big-brother haters. I just heard about DidTheyReadIt.com (go there if you don't know yet), and now I want to know how to defeat it. That is, I want to prevent Eudora from notifying the sender when I open his mail sent through this "service".
