Can I update my Eudora 6.0.2 (paid -- no ads) to the new 6.1 without

I have this problem with my e-mail reader in my PowerMac.  I can not get my
e-mail with Eudora 6.  I
have this PowerMac 8100/100AV with 64MB memory.  It is connected to a
Netgear Router Gateway RP614v2.

Does anyone know why/if there is any reason for  the following problem?
I have an account with my provider (covad), let's call it
*username@covad.net*...  I am trying to setup an accountant with a
different provider with the same username, ie., *username@otherprovider

I have several times gotten mail with JPEG attachments which fail to
display or be saved anywhere than I can find. These are being sent to
an IMAP account. One recent example shows the following at the bottom
