Hotmail Plug In For Eudora??07 Mar 2004 19:28 GMT4
I have the latest version of Eudora, on OS X.3.2  I know that with the
Apple mail client there is a plug in to "pick up" your Hotmail emails
without having to log into the website.  Is there any such plug in for
Eudora??.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Window scrolling bug?07 Mar 2004 11:43 GMT1
I'm running Eudora 6.0.2 under OS 10.2.8 on a G4 IMac.
When I have a message open on the screen and want to select part of it,
I find that I can only do so in the part that's visible on the screen.
When I use the mouse to select-drag, and try to go beyond the bottom of
slow to "render" html? turn off preview pane06 Mar 2004 01:30 GMT1
I've been bugged by various versions of Eudora taking forever* to deal
with incoming html when selecting messages in the inbox (or other
mailboxes). I found out about turning off the automatic downloading
html graphics in the fonts and display section of the settings but
styled text question05 Mar 2004 21:05 GMT7
When I compose a message that include bold or italic words, these styles
never get sent as they are written. Is there a way to set preferences so
it works? Why even include these options if they do not work?

slow response on mail check05 Mar 2004 18:47 GMT10
I just upgraded from 5.2.1 to 6.0.2.  When checking for new mail, Eudora
now takes 20-30 seconds before displaying a dialog box indicating that
new mail has arrived or that there is no new mail.  With 5.2.1 this box
appeared immediately.  Not a big deal but a tad annoying.  Any ...

I've somehow compromised Eudora's ability to link to the browser. When
I double-click on a hyperlink (blue URL), I get a message that says...

Re-installing should solve the problem.
server mailbox full but all msgs deleted05 Mar 2004 12:42 GMT1
I'm trying to help a friend that uses Eudor light with Bellsouth DSL.
Since her box was full she deleted all the mail, however it didn't
delete it from the server. From looking at other posts I see I can go
to Tools/Options/Checking mail - uncheck 'Leave mail on server' to
Attachment question - sending Mac Eudora to Windows webmail?04 Mar 2004 12:26 GMT2
We just ran into a problem that occurs when a Mac Eudora user sends a
message with attachments to a recipient who is using webmail from a
Windows machine. The attachments are unreadable (for the most part).
.pdf files seems to work OK, but Office documents don't (.doc, .xls and
corruption of mailbox file attributes04 Mar 2004 08:23 GMT1
I've been using Eudora 5.0.1 (sponsored) with OS X 10.2.3 in Classic
mode. Since my move up to OS X, this program has continued to perform
very well. Then suddenly this morning--without warning, as usual--I was
faced with a dire situation, i.e.,  being unable to send mail. I was
Junk the Junk04 Mar 2004 07:31 GMT6
OSX 10.2.8 and Eudora 6.0.2 paid.
I have prefs set to empty the junk folder of anything over 1 day old.
But it doesn't. Well very rarely anyway, it will occasionally do so when
I shut Eudora down, but as I rarely do that it's problem I would like to
Configuring Eudora for Comcast04 Mar 2004 06:06 GMT3
I'm helping a friend configure for a new Comcast cable-modem setup.
1. What are the settings for using Eudora with Comcast? Are they
supporting POP, IMAP, or both? What is the smtp server? Authentication
on smtp? Mail server? Any tricks in entering the username? From reading
Can't send mail to AUL04 Mar 2004 00:04 GMT1
For several days I have been unable to send mail to any AUL address
using Eudora on Comcast.net (broadband cable service) although I can
send to the same addresses by using either Yahoo Mail or Apple's "Mail"
application in Internet Explorer.  Since this is the case it seems to ...
What is Eudora up to with importing?03 Mar 2004 19:20 GMT10
I saw the latest Beta update, and the note that says 'read HTML mail
right within Eudora'. So I decided to download it (yet again). But no,
they still haven't got this sorted.
Anyway, I might be able to live with this if I could import my messages
Empty IMAP Trash on Quit?03 Mar 2004 14:09 GMT5
Is there any way to make Eudora empty a Trash folder on an IMAP server
when it quits like it does for the local/POP Trash?
It's annoying having to empty it manually all the time.
thanks
