How to change default URL browser in Eudora?29 Feb 2004 20:17 GMT6
Once upon a time I (somehow) set my default browser in Eudora (for
bringing up URLs in email) to MS IE, but now I want to change it to
Mozilla. The Eudora Help says to option double-click on a URL to bring
up a choice of what application I want to use, but when I do that it

Unable to send mail to AOL addresses29 Feb 2004 01:41 GMT2
For the past couple of days I've been unable to send mail to any AOL
address using Eudora 5.2 and Comcast broadband cable service. I can send
to these same addresses by using a Yahoo Mail account, but still over
the Comcast server. So I don't think it's an AOL problem, but a ...
Services Menu without PGP29 Feb 2004 01:18 GMT1
After switching to Panther (10.3.2), some of the available services
have vanished from the services submenu in Eudora 6.0.2, eg the PGP
services.
They are still available in Finder and other applications, though.

I'm seeing a problem that I don't believe used to occur...
If I receive multiple e-mail messages that contain attachments with the same

see the unread blue dot. Any suggestions as how to fix.
Can't send mail (error -3212)25 Feb 2004 20:52 GMT4
I'm running Eudora 6.0 on System 10.2.8 (service provider wanadoo.fr)
and have been having trouble sending mail for the past two days.
Receiving mail works fine but whenever I try to send, the Task Progress
window pops up with the message "Server not responding. -3212 {37:461}"
attachment folder vs. parts folder25 Feb 2004 17:03 GMT1
Long-time user of Eudora, first-time poster to this newsgroup.  I'm using
v5.2 under OS 10.2.8.  Every so often, when I receive an attachment, it
gets placed in my Parts Folder, rather than the attachment folder.
According to the Eudora website, the Parts Folder is "used for images ...
5.1 unexpectedly quits when opening graphics-rich e-mails24 Feb 2004 19:49 GMT1
When I get e-mails from Netflix, half.com, etc., that have lots of
embedded graphics, Eudora 5.1 frequently quits. Then when I restart
it, it opens the same message(s) just fine. Is there anything I can do
to stop this from happening? (BTW, I have an iMac running 10.1.5.)
Attach question21 Feb 2004 19:12 GMT10
When sending a message (Eudora 5.2 in OSX) there are tow attach options. One
attaches a document  CMD-shift-A  but the one below it has no keyboard
equivalent, just  "Attach" with a right facing arrow but the choice is greyed
out -"None installed" is the greyed out message.
disappearing settings question21 Feb 2004 11:48 GMT2
I have been using Eudora for several years. Recently updated to Mac OS X
Panther and subsequently Eudora 6. All worked fine for the last month
until today. When I launch eudora from the dock or from its parent
folder it acts as if it is launching for the first time, asking me to
Recipients receive attachment named '%'21 Feb 2004 01:08 GMT1
I run Eudora 6 on Panther and when I send StarOffice attachments to
Netscape 7.1 mail, they show up named '%'
The file is good, but the name has been changed. Any clue as to why
this is happening?
