| That annoying "Ad the Obscure" message | 26 Jan 2004 03:01 GMT | 3 |
I've recently upgraded to Eudora for Macintosh 6.0.1, from an earlier version so ancient that I'm embarrassed to even tell you the version number. I've been running Eudora 6 for a few weeks now, in sponsored mode. This is fine; I have no objection to sharing my screen with the ...

| Eudora 6.02 mac printing problem | 25 Jan 2004 21:16 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone seen this problem? If I have a message that is more than one page I can only get it to print the first page of text. I've checked page setup and everything seem fine. I use OS 10.3.2 and print to an HP printer. I don't have this problem printing from any other ...

| Eudora 6 [OS X] and Task Progress | 25 Jan 2004 18:00 GMT | 4 |
I've recently upgraded to Eudora 6. back in Eudora 5, I seemed to have an option to show either the Task Progress window, or have a window popup *only during Task activity*. I **much** prefer the latter, the Task Progrss window is extremely

| change color of quoted text. | 24 Jan 2004 14:20 GMT | 2 |
There is an esoteric setting for color of quoted text. It looks like this: 0,24000,24000. I realize that these are settings for RGB but they are not decimal (the values must be 0-255) or hexadecimal (00-FF) or even octal. How can I translate these into values I am familiar ...

| Eudora Opens to Search Page | 24 Jan 2004 01:37 GMT | 3 |
For some reason a couple of weeks ago Eudora started opening to the search page, rather than the inbox. I switch to the inbox and then exit, but when I reopen it again goes to the search page. It did this with 5.2 and then when I upgraded to 6.0 it continued to open to the search ...

| email with light text and dark backgrounds | 22 Jan 2004 21:17 GMT | 4 |
Some email that I get from PC Outlook users has yellow writing on what I guess must be a dark background. However, I get yellow writing on a white background, which is impossible to read. Does Eudora support background colours, or is there anything else I can

For some days now I am receiving a message from Eudora after the first startup of the day stating that Eudora is not able to receive Ads. I am in sponsored mode using Mac OS X 10.2.8. Checking the latest version tells me I allready have the latest version.

| Filters: Automatically include addressee of outgoing mail in address book? | 18 Jan 2004 14:08 GMT | 6 |
I am using a whitelist approach for filtering spam. Something that I would like to do is that if I send an email to address A, and A is not in my address book to have eudora automatically add A to the address book.

| Eudora 6.X and Japanese | 17 Jan 2004 19:45 GMT | 3 |
My apologies if this has been discussed already. I looked in Google but found nothing recent. I am using Eudora 6.2 on Mac OS 9.2 with Japanese extensions. On older versions of Eudora, I was able to use a kanji plugin on Eudora, which

| Eudora 5.2.1 weirdness w / OS X 10.3.2 | 16 Jan 2004 14:57 GMT | 3 |
I get the regular Evil Beach Ball in Eudora, now that I've installed 10.3.2. I last had 10.2.8, and this Eudora worked fine w/ that version of OS X. I find it always hard to tell if Eudora has been updated for a new OS release, as its developers, IMHO, simply "update" Eudora to ...

| Nicknames | 16 Jan 2004 00:25 GMT | 3 |
When a nickname is used to extract an address from the address book only the nickname appears in the "to:" field. I know that the physical email has the complete address since I have sent mail to myself using my nickname and the complete expanded address is on the mail. The copy

| Missing Address Book | 16 Jan 2004 00:17 GMT | 3 |
One of my address books no longer appears in my address book window. The file physically exists, I am able to open it and look at it as a text file with Eudora. If I move it to the trash Eudora creates a new empty one. The names can be used within new mail without a problem. It
