Where did my attribution line go?  :-(11 Dec 2003 00:07 GMT6
I seem to remember that Eudora used to put an attribution line
*automatically* in all replies.  In case you're wondering what an
attribution line is, it is the line that appears at the top of a reply
and looks something like:

Eudora 6.0.2 -- hum.  Some improvements, sortof.10 Dec 2003 06:19 GMT3
I've been kindof bummed out about the quality of Eudora recently.  I
really like Eudora... but it's starting to drive me nutz.
First, I'll say that Eudora 6.0.2 is an improvement.  It is slightly
faster than 6.0 or 6.0.1 - both the GUI and downloading email.  And it's
Persistent Trsansient Failures - again10 Dec 2003 01:23 GMT3
Sorry to bring this up again, but there is one little item of
information I neglected include in my original query.
These failures seem to occur only in connection with messages sent by a
friend in Florida using comcast.net as his ISP. Why, given that the
Which outgoing headers does Eudora create?09 Dec 2003 05:09 GMT4
Which 'outgoing headers' does Eudora create
from a Mac and from Windows?
And, which 'incoming headers' does Eudora create.

Finally found setting to display mail with "umlauts" correctly08 Dec 2003 19:32 GMT6
Just wanted to let people having problems with "special characters"
(like äöüß in german texts) know...
For quite a while now, I always had a problem with one specific
mailing-list from a german company - the subject of the incoming mailing
Need help with Eudora on older Powerbook08 Dec 2003 11:45 GMT4
I'm trying to rescue some files from an old Powerbook 165c, but the floppy
drive seems to be trashed, so I thought, "Hey, why not just e-mail them?" I
have and old copy of Eudora Lite on it (version 1.5.3) and it used to work
fine on e-mail before I gave it to my daughter, but now ...
Eudora can't get ads06 Dec 2003 19:42 GMT2
I see that others here are having the same problem I am having.  Ever
since I downloaded and started to use Eudora 6, I have been getting the
message that Eudora can't download new ads.  (I should also mention
that I am using system 9.2.2  I have 10.2, but I don't use it that
6.0.1 Classic cannot check mail05 Dec 2003 22:02 GMT2

check nor send mail. When opening the connection, a message error
Filtering follow-up messages05 Dec 2003 14:22 GMT1
Is there a way for Eudora 5.2.1 to filter follow-up messages based on
the criteria of the original filtered message?
If not, will later versions do so?
thanks
Errors in retrieving mail with 6.0 and OS 904 Dec 2003 16:38 GMT1
I have a Eudora Folder that works well with Eudora 6.0 under Mac OS X.
With the very same Eudora Folder, Eudora 6.0, under OS 9.2.2, cannot
check mail. A message error appears during the TCP/IP connexion
establishment. It says approximatively: error -3297 ; {37 : 477}:

In Eudora on Windows you can select text in an email to quote in the
reply. Why can't you do that on a Mac?

Can't save password02 Dec 2003 06:08 GMT9
I don't want to be required to enter my password every time I open
Eudora. I have checked the Settings >Checking Mail box that says "Save
Password," but I keep getting asked for my password. I use an iMac, OS
9.2. Am I doing something wrong?
Persistent Transient Failure02 Dec 2003 02:30 GMT3
For reasons that neither a friend of mine nor I has succeeded in
fathoming many - but not all - of his emails to me are returned marked
"Persistent Transient Failure." I then asked him to send to my wife, who
uses this same computer but has her own address. The result was the
