Finding out the "To" address if its not clear31 Dec 2003 23:37 GMT7
I have a number of email addresses and sometimes I want to know exactly
which one was used by the person sending me email. However, there are a
number of times when the "To" field contains the senders address or some
other nonsense, rather than my own.
Several seconds pause in displaying email31 Dec 2003 15:21 GMT3
Eudora 6.0.2, OS 10.2.4 on iMac G4:  When I check mail, there is a
noticeable delay between retrieving messages and actually displaying
them in my Inbox.  I have checked the Task Progress window, and
everything proceeds quickly there, the check and download are done in
Composing mail offline31 Dec 2003 15:20 GMT2
When i try to write email while not connected to the internet, Eudora
regularly hangs with spinning cursor for long periods of time. I am
wondering if this has to do with the sponsored version looking for
pop-up adds, and if I bought the paid version would it remove this
Foreign Characters in IMAP Folders30 Dec 2003 22:23 GMT1
I know, some say you should not ... but using foreign characters in IMAP
folders works perfectly even cross-application in Outlook/Entourage, Mail,
Mulberry and some others, but not in Eudora 6.
F.e. a folder named and correctly displayed: Entwürfe
Importing mailboxes from Mailsmith27 Dec 2003 22:50 GMT3
I'm returning, with a great feeling of relief, to good ol' Eudora after
a disastrous attempt to use Mailsmith. (Main problems with the latter:

Applescript buff, integration with Apple's clunky address book which
Nothing flagged "junk" any more27 Dec 2003 09:16 GMT11
Ever since upgrading to Eudora 6.0.2 (paid version), "junk" mail is
delivered to the Inbox and very little spam . . . actually, I don't
think any . . . gets directed to the Junk mailbox.
Any clues to what has happened?

Finding Messages in Eudora for Mac OS X26 Dec 2003 18:12 GMT4
Greetings and Merry Christmas!
I currently use Eudora 5.x under Windows 2000 running on Pentium II
400 MHz (I know, that's why I need to buy a new machine).  I am

I want to disable the Link History feature.  In the Eudora folder,
there is a file entitled "Link History".  I don't want it to exist.
When I delete it, it is automatically re-generated.  How can I delete

Panther eats mice?22 Dec 2003 10:26 GMT1
I just got an email from an old friend. She has a beachball iMac (17" I
think- I haven't seen it for a few weeks). It was running 10.2.6 or
thereabouts. She was using a Logitech three button and scroll mouse.
Her brother (who generally knows what he's doing) upgraded her to Panther.
