Is this a bug or a feature?30 Nov 2003 19:24 GMT1
I have students writing to me with term paper proposals, so I've been
responding to dozens of messages recently. I just discovered an odd
thing about marking a message as replied to, and just wanted to see if
this is the way it is supposed to be, or if it's a bug, or if there's
IMAP on Eudora29 Nov 2003 08:42 GMT2
My company uses MS Exchange and does not have the IMAP function turned on.
In other words, I have to have a client that views emails on the server - I
can not download a copy of the email - the client must be able to view the
messages on the server.
Floating toolbar29 Nov 2003 08:40 GMT4
A long time ago I tried some x-eudora-setting (I believe) that made the
toolbar a floating window rather than something that is stuck to at a
side of the screen.
Now I want to disable this floating, but can't find the setting,

Junk filter has gone bonkers27 Nov 2003 20:55 GMT7
My junk filter was working nominally well until I changed mail
services. I was using mydomain.com to redirect my email from one email
account (my public account name) to my "real" email. Mydomain was
added to the "bad" list at spamblock.org so a friend who runs his own
Eudora 6 - Filter feature request.27 Nov 2003 18:17 GMT5
One of the games spammers play is to obscure words with <>, sometimes
html tags but usually just garbage text.
It would be helpful to have a filter matching criteria that ignored
things within <>.  So this way, for example, "viagra" could be matched

6.0.1 installer doesn't recognize previous version26 Nov 2003 19:13 GMT1
Good day,
I'm trying to update a customer's Eudora from 4.3.1 to the latest version,
but the 6.0.1 installer isn't letting me do so. I choose the "Update an
existing version" option, I'm then prompted to select the Eudora Application
message buttons don't work26 Nov 2003 19:13 GMT2
Hey everyone,
(I'm new here).  I've got a user using Eudora 5.2 (paid mode) whose New
Message, Reply, and Forward buttons and functions don't work.   The user is
using Mac OS 10.3, and this is the first time this is happened.  I've never
Basic question on sending mail to a list25 Nov 2003 23:56 GMT1
When sending mail to a list, I'll occasionally get a "cannot send mail
to <email address>" message if the address is malformed or incorrect.
Does that mean that the e-mail will not be sent to the rest of the list
(i.e., the correct addresses) until the error is corrected, or will ...
sent items in Out box become 'sendable'25 Nov 2003 23:48 GMT1
since rebuilding my settings a little while ago, I'm now noticing odd
behavior in my OUT box.  After restarting Eudora, all messages that were
stored in the OUT box get marked with the little blue ball that means
"sendable' instead of the checkmark that means 'sent'

Panther, Safari, Eudora25 Nov 2003 19:26 GMT6
How do I make Eudora the default mail application for Safari (under
10.3.1)? When I click on a mailto link in Safari, it brings up the Mac
mail thing, and I want to use Eudora.
Also, I notice that Eudora (V6) got installed on my OS9 volume. Was
Eudora 5.2.1 Slowed Down after Panther 10.3.1 Install25 Nov 2003 12:55 GMT1
I upgraded to Mac OS x 10.3.1 from 10.2.8 last week. Since then,
sending and receiving email has slowed down by a factor of ten. This
is with Eudora 5.2.1. Any ideas why? Any solutions?
Thanks, Abooneh.
