Assign Tasks via Email05 Jun 2007 03:42 GMT1
Is there a way to Assign Tasks in Entourage, then e-mail the "Task" to
an assignee's e-mail address, the same feature that is in Outlook?
Who is our advocate at Apple or Microsoft to get some of these basic
features added to Entourage that have been found in Outlook for years?

A friend keeps getting mails with certain senders classified as junk and
ending up in junk mail box. He is trying to click this link "classify
the sender as not junk e-mail" and adding the sender to the address
book, but it doesn't help.

delete an entire word to the right of the cursor, i.e., Ctrl-Delete in
Windows. I know that Option-Delete will delete an entire word to the

Hi, just curious as to how this works. I've got the Sync with Address Book
preference checked on in Entourage. Does Entourage automatically sync this
up and update Address Book when I make changes in the Entourage Address
Book?

Search for a word or phrase in the body of all emails?04 Jun 2007 07:45 GMT6
Seems like one should be able to do full text search through all emails to
locate a word or phrase embedded in the body of one or more emails. I know I
can do that at work, in both Outlook and GroupWise...why not at home, with
Entourage?

Spam/Junk filter03 Jun 2007 22:47 GMT7
Is  there a known way to add keyword, domains, etc. to Entourage 2004's
spam/junk feature? I know in previous versions of Outlook (Windows) you
could add name@address.extention or *@address.extention to the
filter/junk feature, but I can't seem to locate a similar feature in

I am attempting to transfer an extensive email collection and an address book
from my old blue & white G3 Mac to my new MacBook; I'm using Entourage 2004
on both machines.  The G3 is too old to go into Firewire Target mode, so I
exported all the material into an Entourage archive ...
Windows and Entourage03 Jun 2007 16:25 GMT2
Here's a good one.  A while back, when I was unemployed, I switched to Mac
and MS Office and fell in love with Entourage.  Now I work for a company
that requires that I carry a PC with MS Office for Windows and they won't
let me put my Mac on the network.  I travel a lot and ...
