Just got back from a month-long vacation and discovered Entourage had
deleted a whole series of emails from the first week or so while I was
away.  The last 3 weeks worth of messages are intact.  Why did this
happen?  Is there anyway to prevent from happening in the future?

Would LOVE an answer for this one.
I was told I probalby had a corrumpted file in my database and to
rebuild.
I did -- it forced me to do an ADVANCE rebuild.

Entourage doesn't pick up the date format from the OS System Preferences
properly. It also has nowhere, it seems to me, to set the format in its

While using Entourage to check hotmail, if a folder has a lot of messages in

Our firm uses Exchange Server 2003 (OWA included). We all connect to the
