Has anyone ever seen a 3rd-Party app for iPhoneOS to reach the shell
like Terminal?  If it has Darwin, then shouldn't the shell be
possible?  Without it, I can't imagine ever wanting an iPod, iPhone or
iPad.

Three of my sons are Mac enthusiasts. One gave me a Notebook for
Christmas.  Macs are of the finest construction and have
state-of-the-art electronics.  The OS 10.6 is much better than Windows ;
so much better that one of my sons, a computer programmer, uses it

The Inspiron 1525 has a matte finish, it has a 15.4" Widescreen

I accidentally knocked over one of my external hard drives that sits
vertically on my desk -- it didn't fall off the desk, it just fell over onto
its side (i.e., it fell vertically to horizontally) on the desk. There was
no apparent effect, and everything appears to be working fine.

What's been your experience so far?

I have had manufactured a threaded steel disk that enables you to mount your
iSight to a threaded tripod sled. You can affix the Apple plastic mount to
the disk and the disk to the sled; or you can use the disk alone and attach
the iSight magnetic base.

I was wondering if the iSight camera was dropped for good or was just
being upgraded.  They are no longer available anywhere... dropped at

I have a Quantum Q 280 SCSI hard drive out of an original Mac II that

This is a proposal for a newsgroup for Apple's iPad.  There has been some
discussion about it in various Apple related newsgroups (e.g.,

As often I am trying to help a friend whois across the Atlantic from me,

I am running OS 10.3.9 on a Blue and White G3. I have never been able
