I have got a problem removing a symbolic link. This mac is running OSX
10.6.4. There are no ACLs enabled on this volume. The link was created
by root. But root cannot delete it:
root@macbook:Storage# pwd

Does anyone know of a way to get itunes to allow HD content to be shown
on a Mac Pro with a non Apple DVI display ?
My video card has a DVI output and a apple mini dvi one with a mini-DVI
adaptor. Both displays are NEC 1980sx with DVI inputs.

Check out the stoplight at the top left corner of iTunes 10.  First time

I have acquired a Cabletron "Roamabout" WiFi 802.11 PCMCIA
Card in mint condition for my old faithful "Pismo" G3 Mac
Powerbook (that has no internal "airport" WiFi).

I have a BlackBerry from Vodafone. My Windows laptop connects to it via
Bluetooth and, without any hassle, uses the BlackBerry's internet connection
to give me internet on the laptop when I have no other network to connect
to.

Hi - I want something "like" and ipod touch, however the touch does

I thought I read that these fired up when the computer was powered on
after having been off.  Mine was and they didn't.
Perhaps they fire up if the computer is powered up but asleep?  Might I
have mis-remembered that?

On my MacBook Pro, the Airport MAC address shows up in the network
information, but I don't know where to find the Ethernet address.

So I'm looking on Crucial for memory upgrades.
I remember that at the time I bought the machine, an upgrade to 8GiB of
RAM was $600.  When I checked Crucial at that time, the upgrade was the
same.  The price has gone down over time, until tonight where I see it
