How do I convert this old Ragtime document ?

Hello

My better half wrote her thesis a long time ago in what I
believe was Ragtime 2.1. How do you convert such a
file in this day and age so that all (well, most of) the formatting
etc. is intact ? (the text I can get via Textedit).
As I recall I DL'ed Ragtime solo or whatever a few years back
but couldn't get it to open it ... does anyone know of a solution ?

OMG - I haven't heard that name in what seems like a *century*:-), but it's
still alive & well! It's now at version 6.0.2 and there is a 30-day free
trial with full functionality available here:

The only thing is IIRC they made a significant change when they moved from
v2.x to v3.0, but I would expect v6.x to be able to open the older files. If
the trial version doesn't open them, get in touch with their support -
perhaps they can offer suggestions.

That wasn't the one I tried way back when ! yes this must be the best
