Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

The error I am getting is

"Word cannot save this document due to a naming or permissions error on the destination volume"

I am running office 2004 on Mac running Os 10.4.11 both are fully updated.

The only thing I have found that has helpped is deleting the network account and creating a new one. I was hoping there was a better fix, because I have 2500 accounts in my buliding and that could take awhile.

Thanks

Check the Unix user ID assigned to each login account.

See if any of this helps:
