Ok, this is weird. I often type "t-e-h" instead of "t-h-e" (sorry, had to use - because website kept correcting my typing). Word auto corrects this BUT it types "tehthe" then a space, then 4 Japanese characters, then jumps down a line, indents, then retypes "the". This happens often, unless I turn off Auto-Correct. Any ideas on this very strange problem?

Have you gone into Tools> AutoCorrect to see if there actually *is* such an
entry in the list? If it's there simply delete it & add the accurate
correction back to the list.

Or turn it off altogether.
Download the very latest version of TypeIt4Me which has a a new feature
that can correct these typing error and choose it from a built in
dictionary of screwed up typing. ANDDDD... You can use it in other
applications as well.

Also if you need to type what amounts to "boilerplate" (a section or
Paragraph of text you need to be exactly the same every time). TypeIt4Me
is just the ticket.

You can also add additional items to auto correct in MS-Office as needed.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
