I accidentally created a template which is a sentence that appears every time I open a new document in word. How do I get rid of this template?

If you've not done any customizations to Menus, toolbars or styles that you
are concerned about losing the easiest thing is to simply trash your
Normal.dotm & let Word create a new one. Quit any Office apps then go to:

User/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates

Then delete Normal.dotm, empty the Trash, launch Word (it may take a moment
longer than usual for it to fully launch) & you should have a new blank doc
from here on out whenever you need one.
